Update:
Josh went to John's Hopkins Monday for a PET scan, blood tests, and to meet with Dr. Smith.
Dr. Smith said they probably wouldn't be able to see anything from this PET scan because of all the inflamation from the radiation, so he wants Josh to come back in 3 weeks for another scan. The results of that scan will determine the next step. Dr. Smith said that if the tumor is dead, then they will go ahead with the bone marrow transplant. If the tumor still has living cells in it, they will not to the transplant. They would probably do surgery if it is alive.
Josh is feeling the side effects from the radiation now. His throat has been very sore, and he has been tired. His blood counts are fine, so he is not in danger or anything.
Please pray for God's will to be done with the results. Pray that the doctors will be wise in what they deicide to do with the results. Pray for Josh's health and strength to return fully. Thank you all!
                  Love, Jen

 Just a quick update.=)

Josh didn't end up having his transplant, but ended up having 6 weeks of radation to kill the new tumor. He finished radation a week ago, and now has an appointment at John's Hopkins tomorrow to talk about the transplant. Josh did very well with the radation, but now is sick. Pray that God will heal his body, and enable things to move quickly for the transplant.
I am living in PA and working at Best Western. I really enjoy it! It's been wonderful to be so close to Josh! Thank you all for your prayers! I will try to get better at updating this so you all can know what's going on with Josh and I. God Bless.

Josh was released early this afternoon from Johns Hopkins, and is now home. He is doing very well and is happy to be home.
While Josh was in the hospital the doctors did all the tests needed for his bone marrow transplant. The date for the actually transplant should be in early August. Josh and his dad have more testing to do before the actual transplant takes place...Please pray for Josh, and his dad as they undergo more tests.
The doctors took a biopsy of the new mass. They haven't received any results back yet. They are pushing for the transplant, believing that will best treat Josh's condition.
Thank you all so much for your prayers! They help more than you know! Continue to pray for Josh's mom and myself. We will be the caregivers to Josh and his dad after the transplant takes place. Pray for emitional, physical, and spiritual strength for both of us. Pray for Josh and his dad physical strength to undergo all that the transplant includes. Continue to pray for Josh's, his family, and my financial needs to be met. God always provides.=) Please pray for the doctors' wisdom and direction for Josh's treatments.
Thank you all so much. God Bless.

Thank you all so much for your prayers!
Josh and I were in New York visiting friends and family June28-July7th. We went to WOL and spent time with so many different people. It was such a blessing to both Josh and I. It was good for him to have a change of pace and be able to see people. It was a wonderful vacation!
A day or two before we came back to Pa Josh had trouble breathing again. He said it felt like what he had in January when everything started....it was never as bad as before, he just noticed something was constricting his airway.
Monday he went to JH and they took a CT scan and saw a new substance pushing on his trachea. They admitted him later on that day, and put him on steroids, which enabled him to sleep wonderfully!
The doctors are working hard to get his partial bone marrow transplant started as soon as possible. While he has been in the hospital they have done many blood tests, and other tests needed to start the transplant.
I have been staying with my grandmother who lives 45mins from the hospital. I will most likely move in with her for the few months that Josh is in Baltimore for his transplant. Pray for God's direction there, and an opportunity for a short-term job for me.
Josh is doing really well. He would tell you all that he feels fine or great. He's always so positive! He wants things to get going, because the sooner things start, the sooner things end, and we can get on with wedding plans, and our lives together! All in the Lord's perfect timing!
Thank you again for all your prayers. God is good.

Sorry I have gotten so bad at updating here. I have really switched to Facebook. I know some of you don't have facebook, so I will try to get better at updating.
So, a lot has been going on in my life! I have finished the school year at work. We had our graduation celebrations Tuesday and Wednesday. They were great!
I am finished working and I am planning on moving to Paraise, PA Monday!!!! God has provided a place for me to live that is only 3 miles away from Josh's house! It's so awesome!
Josh is doing well. His blurry vision hasn't improved. We haven't been informed about surgery or not. Josh finished his 3rd round of chemo and did very well with it! We are now waiting for the bone marrow transplant. They didn't find a match for Josh, so they will preform a partial transplant using one of his siblings, or his dad. That decision hasn't been made yet.
Thank you again for your prayers. I hope you all enjoy your Summer! Love you!
